Megan Halpenny

Human Resources Manager

As a kid, Megan Halpenny never considered growing up. She counted on a career working with animals while also being an actress, circus performer, American Gladiator, and at one point, a nun. While attending Texas Christian University, she majored in TV/film with a minor in advertising and PR before making the transition to human resources. It was in this step she realized her passion for building relationships with others. 

Prior to joining BHB, she provided HR support for various businesses within the medical industry, including a pediatric center and nursing home. She currently oversees the hiring and interviewing of staff, benefits and leave, and the enforcement of company policies and practices for the firm.

Outside of work, Megan loves spending time with her husband, two sons, and two quirky dogs. If you can’t find them at the pool or snow cone stand, they’ll be in their garden planting seeds and turning purple from eating their homegrown blackberries.
