Cody Bailey, PE
Senior Associate | Electrical Engineer
Cody Bailey joined BHB with a deep foundation in electrical systems and a passion for solving complex problems. His journey into engineering began with a screwdriver and a curious mind—taking apart household electronics to see how they worked. That same hands-on curiosity led him to the U.S. Navy in 1998, where he graduated from the Navy Nuclear Power School and spent nearly a decade working in nuclear power, specializing in operations, distribution, and system maintenance.
At BHB, Cody brings a diverse set of credentials to the table. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, a former NETA Level 4 Electrical Test Technician, and a licensed Journeyman Electrician. His background offers a rare blend of technical depth and field experience, which he uses to design systems that turn clients’ visions into reality. He is also an active member of the IEEE Power and Energy Society.
What Cody enjoys most about his work is the opportunity to solve complex problems, learn new systems and skills, and collaborate directly with clients to bring their ideas to life.
Outside of work, Cody enjoys reading, teaching at his church, and operating as a licensed Amateur Extra Radio Operator. He’s also an enthusiastic fan of TCU football and baseball and counts fall trips to Maine among his favorite getaways for the scenery, food, and historic charm.
Whether through engineering or personal passions, Cody is always learning, exploring, and ready for the next challenge.
