Jeremy Snyder, PE

Principal | Mechanical Engineer

After taking a physics class in high school, Jeremy knew he wanted to become an engineer. During this class, he built a speaker from scratch, and from that project he realized how much he enjoyed science, and designing and building things. Jeremy holds a bachelor’s and master’s of science in mechanical engineering.

Before joining BHB, Jeremy worked at Nike for five years; three as an engineer and two as an engineer team lead. Through Nike, Jeremy has a total of 19 patents and seven published applications. In 2012, Jeremy left Nike to work at Bell Helicopter in a project management and coordination role. He was one of the engineers who worked on the 525 Relentless Helicopter, specifically working on the propulsion and AC systems.

Jeremy came to BHB in 2015, after a one-year mission trip to Saltillo, Mexico to help start a community center. His project experience includes mechanical and plumbing design in a large range of industries from healthcare to industrial facilities, and he is adept at working within a team to design systems to work for a specific environment. In fact, his specialty is aerospace manufacturing production environments, where ventilation and air quality monitoring is critical. Jeremy is a past president and current member of the technical committees of ASHRAE, on the board of the TSPE Fort Worth chapter, and on the MATHCOUNTS Committee of TSPE at the state level.

Outside of work, Jeremy loves spending time with his wife, Kaci, and two kids. He also enjoys doing volunteer work, running, cycling, hiking, and being active outdoors. Of the mountains he’s climbed, the coolest and most challenging was Mount Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania.
