Larry Colvin has had the rare opportunity to combine his work with his passion. Mountain biking and advocating for local trails are two pass times Larry can’t live without; at BHB he utilizes the skills he has learned through these passions to design soft-surface trails throughout DFW.

Larry has over 30 years of experience in civil engineering design work, and also provides design support to BHB’s landscape architecture department. He believes that finding motivation to do something will allow you to learn and accomplish anything.

Larry is currently President of the Weatherford Mountain Bike Club (WMBC), a non-profit organization that has stewarded some of BHB’s most notable trail projects. If you can’t find him in his office, he is either enjoying the company of his cat or speeding down one of his favorite trails.
