Toby Stock, RPLS
Project Manager | Senior Land Surveyor
He would have been the fifth generation of his family to become a farmer and rancher, but as he grew up on the family farm, Toby became more intrigued by history and exploration. In many ways, having been raised to have an appreciation for the land ultimately piqued his interest in modern day mapping and led him to land surveying.
During one summer in college Toby worked as a park ranger at Lake Proctor. He faced the daunting task of light bulb inventory throughout the park—this helped him realize that government work was not for him. He went on to work as a land surveyor on oil and gas projects throughout Texas for 11 years before joining BHB, where he now leads the firm’s land surveying team in Weatherford.
He enjoys spending time with his family and nieces, whom, at their young age, appreciate his “Uncle” humor. Outside of work, if the conditions are just right, he’ll attempt a round at one of the area golf courses. Toby’s words to live by: “Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.”
