Baird, Hampton & Brown, a multi-disciplinary engineering firm, recently announced four promotions to further the growth and expertise of the company. Chad Wallace, PE, Joe LaCroix, PE, Ron Ishmael, PE, and Ana Garcia, CPA were all promoted to Senior Associate. BHB couldn’t be happier to promote these well-deserving individuals.
Chad Wallace, PE has been with BHB over six years and in the industry for almost ten. He is a civil engineer with experience serving public and private agencies. Mr. Wallace continues to deliver as a strong project manager whose strength lies in his ability to get his projects out the door and manage the construction process from beginning to end. His project experience includes industrial, commercial, municipal, and residential sites. He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Joe LaCroix, PE has been at BHB since he graduated college in 2013. Mr. LaCroix is a civil engineer and was drawn to this line of work for the ability to take an idea from your mind to paper, through construction, and into the built world. Mr. LaCroix’s experience includes a range of site development and public works projects including hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, storm water conveyance system design, and roadway design. He is also knowledgeable in analyzing and designing water distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems. As a project manager at BHB, he enjoys the ability to work on a wide variety of projects while also being involved in the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and the MATHCOUNTS program. Mr. LaCroix is also a graduate of the Professional Engineer Leadership Institute.
Ron Ishmael, PE has garnered nearly 15 years of diverse industry experience and continues his journey at BHB as the firm’s first structural engineer. His background includes structural design services for new and existing buildings, structural assessments and evaluations, historic preservation, and forensic failure investigations. Mr. Ishmael has experience with multiple construction materials such as steel, concrete, wood/timber, cold formed steel, insulated concreted forms, foundations, and fiber reinforced polymer, and has extensive experience in elevated concrete design. He is also heavily involved in the Fort Worth Structural Engineers Association of Texas (SEAoT) and is a past president of the International Concrete Repair Institute.
Ana Garcia, CPA has been a part of BHB for nine years and has nearly 25 years of accounting and reporting experience. Her experience ranges from working for a public accounting firm to a high-end retail development company. Ms. Garcia earned a BBA degree from the University of Tulsa in 1993 and an MS degree with an Accounting concentration from the University of Kansas in 1994. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas State Board of Public Accountants, and the Fort Worth Chapter of CPAs. She is also a Pastoral Council Member at her church.
