On January 24, Baird, Hampton & Brown was recognized by the University of Texas at Arlington as one of the 100 fastest-growing Maverick businesses. Known as the Mavs 100, the inaugural event celebrated successful alumni and their entrepreneurial achievements.
BHB consists of 34 UTA alumni, with Mavericks comprising 30% of the company, including two of its founders, Bill Baird and Merlin Hampton. The firm is proud to continue to employ UTA students for its summer and winter internship programs, and graduates for full-time positions spanning multiple service offerings.
“It was an honor to be recognized on the Mavs 100 list,” said Bill Baird, BHB Co-founder and Chairman of the Board. “It was humbling to reflect back to when this firm first began almost three decades ago and how far we’ve come since then. We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of our employees, and I am thankful to UTA for recognizing alumni who put such hard work and dedication into their businesses.”
BHB was ranked #18 on the Mavs 100 list, which was determined by the firm’s average revenue from the past three years. Established in in 1992, BHB was founded on one simple but powerful motivation: the drive to succeed. Now, nearly 28 years later, the firm has three locations, over 100 employees, and hundreds of projects completed annually.
